The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program Awards @ the Winona Horse Trials

As the owner of several OTTB's and non raced TB's I was really excited to hear about the Thoroughbred Incentive Program  (T.I.P.). T.I.P. has been developed to encourage the retraining of Thoroughbreds into other disciplines upon completion of careers in racing or breeding.  The Jockey Club is sponsoring numerous awards at hunter/jumper shows, dressage shows and horse trials.

We are pleased to announce that the Winona Horse Trials has been selected as one of the sponsored competitions. T.I.P. will be awarding a prize and $100 to the best placing TB in ALL divisions including the Future Event Horse and the Starter division.

You horse doesn't have to be an OTTB but in order to participate in T.I.P. classes and awards you must be able to show proof of your Thoroughbred's registration with the Jockey Club.  There will also be a T.I.P. entry form that will have to be filled out and sent in with your entry.

Details will be available on the T.I.P. and the Stone Gate Farm websites.

Be sure to check out their Facebook page
